Simply secure the hoist in the tree, attach your tree stand and gear to the included carabiner and hoist it up the tree. To lock off the load, pull, then shift the rope to the side and feed. A lobed, knurled cam locks the load in place. To release the cam, pull the rope to the opposing side and the mechanism will disengage. The Tree Stand Hoist mounts easily around the tree with a heavy duty nylon strap and ratchet. Angled prongs sit against the tree to prevent the hoist from shifting and slipping after you've secured it. An extension arm on the hoist is the ideal spot to hang your bow, unloaded gun or pack while sitting in the tree stand. The Hoist'N Lok™ Tree Stand Hoist is rated to haul capacity of 100 pounds, yet it's lightweight and portable at just over 1.5 pounds.
